Soldier Show and Tops in Blue share the stage
The U.S. Army Soldier Show is a song and dance extravaganza put on "by the Soldier, for the Soldier." The cast and crew are all U.S. Soldiers, who take their show on the road to entertain Soldiers, their Families, and the public.
Tops in Blue is the Air Force equivalent.
The two groups of performers have shared the same stage less than a dozen times since thier inception. This week, they performed Lee Greenwood’s "Proud to be an American" together twice in San Antonio, once on the Soldier Show’s stage, and once on Tops in Blue’s.
With the Soldier Show moving onto an Air-Force-controlled installation next year in accordance with BRAC law (the unit will be headquartered on Joint Base San Antonio), there may be more opportunity to perform– and collaborate– together in the future.
